To reach and influence the world by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, building a strong Biblical foundation that enables us to connect people to God, connect people to people, and connecting people to outreach.
In order to identify the church as conservative in theology and evangelical in spirit, we set forth this general statement of fundamental beliefs:
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future personal return in power and glory at the end of the age.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, Who came forth to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry, service, and witness all who believe in Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ, and that He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit as recorded throughout the New Testament, which ministry includes the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit in the church.
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit and forgives those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that by the indwelling Holy Spirit, God enables said believers to live a godly life.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are unsaved unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ–called the Body of Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: (1) baptism; (2) the Lord’s Supper. We believe that water baptism and communion are open only to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. These ordinances are observed to our Lord Jesus Christ as acts of love and devotion and are not considered to be necessary for our salvation.
