There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12)

Whether you like them or dislike them, The New England Patriots understand the word “Team”. They have been the most dominate football franchise since 2001. They have 5 Super Bowl rings and each time they won, there was a different person who stepped up and made big plays. No one person is bigger than the team. Not even Tom Brady. They understand that it takes all 53 players to accomplish their goal of not only going to the Super Bowl but winning it.

It’s the same thing in the Body of Christ. There are many parts, but no one part is greater than another. Paul reminded the Corinthian  church of this fact as they were arguing over who was more important. His answer was no one. We all have a part to play if we want to accomplish what God has for us. Here at The Refuge, we want to see believers step into their destiny with God. That comes from a team effort to work together and esteem others above ourselves. Let’s take a lesson from the Patriots and understand that no one is above the team. We are many parts but one Body. We belong to Team Jesus!!
